Your story, forever told
The Wall of Love at Qtopia Sydney is a permanent place to honour, remember and celebrate the people who shape our community. It is a tribute to love in all its forms — celebrating community heroes, honouring loved ones, memorialising those we’ve lost, and marking moments that matter.
Located at the heart of the world’s largest Centre for Queer History and Culture, the Wall of Love was first unveiled in its temporary home in our main exhibition lobby in mid-2025. A larger, permanent installation will be inaugurated as part of our Stage 2 development in late 2026.
We are deeply proud that this former site of hardship and mistreatment has been transformed into a space of reflection, gratitude and honour — a place where love is made visible and lasting.

One name (up to 20 characters, including spaces and punctuation)
Two personalised tribute lines (up to 45 characters each)

Thank you for securing your permanent place on the Wall of Love at Qtopia Sydney. Once you have completed your form, you will receive a receipt as an acknowledgement of purchase.
Your inscription is then sent to the engravers. Once we have received your plaque, you will receive a photograph of it via email.
You will be invited to an exclusive unveiling ceremony in 2025 to see your plaque on the Wall of Love. The date of this will be advised in the first half of 2025.
Absolutely! There is no limit on the number of plaques that you may secure to honour your loved ones and members of the community!
Definitely – in fact we encourage you to! This is a wall of community celebration, gratitude, honour and respect and all members of the community, and allies, are eligible for the love, living and deceased.
You may – provided multiple names fit within the number of characters permitted on each plaque, you can honour multiple names with pleasure!
Unfortunately, not. Once the plaque is in production, no edits are available. As such, please ensure that you have really checked all spelling before submitting the form.
The plaques are arranged at random – there is no hierarchy on the wall. As more and more plaques are added, the wall will grow and as such, there is no specific formation or order in which the plaques are placed.
