Rosie Niven
Theatre Manager and Lead Program Facilitator
Rosie has worked with Qtopia Sydney since the opening of the organisation’s first venue in February 2023, where she leads the development and delivery of theatre and education programs for schools, corporate groups and the wider community. With a strong commitment to inclusive education, her work creates experiences that invite audiences to reflect on the power of community, shared responsibility and collective action.
She brings a background in counselling and community-based work, which continues to inform a people-centred approach to programming. Alongside her work at Qtopia Sydney, Rosie is a Theatre Director whose practice centres LGBTQIA+ stories, with a particular focus on supporting young people and emerging artists. These intersecting experiences shape her programming ethos, driving her to create platforms for voices that are often underrepresented and to expand access within the Australian theatre landscape.
